Berru Zeynep Koksal, born in Istanbul, Turkey, is an interdisciplinary architect whose practice navigates between built environments and theoretical inquiry, particularly fascinated by the scalar relationships that connect architectural space to intimate objects. She received her BA in Architecture from University of California Berkeley with a minor in Sustainable Design. Berru has published the Turkish translation of Susie Hodge's "The Short Story of Architecture" and authored critical essays for Turkey's digital architectural platforms. She is currently an intern at Feldman Architecture in San Francisco, CA, while simultaneously operating her own design enterprise specializing in precision writing instruments. Her research has been featured in Trace, CED's publication, through collaborative work with Professor Greig Crysler, and she has curated competitive design platforms through her leadership in AIAS.
